One complete kit: the Velox™ VPC tactical plate carrier, two Dragon Skin™ DS 2.5 flexible rifle plates (front and rear), and two NIJ Level IIIA soft side armor panels.
Package includes
- Velox™ VPC plate carrier — laser-cut MOLLE, quick-release system, padded and ventilated, fully adjustable, drag handle, low profile, accepts standard SAPI plates.
- 2 × Dragon Skin™ DS 2.5 flexible rifle plates (Stand-Alone III+) — SiC / TiB₂ ceramic tile array; stops M855 / M193 / M67 / M80 / .30-06 FMJ; multi-hit, controlled trauma reduction, contours to your body; no soft armor backer required.
- 2 × Level IIIA side armor panels — 5.5" × 11" with SM, MD, LG SAPI and 10×12 cuts; 5.5" × 13" with XL SAPI. Stops common handgun rounds and light carbine threats (9mm, .40, .45, 5.7×28, .357 SIG, .44 Mag). Fits inside the cummerbund.
Upgrade: Dragon Skin™ 3.0 Boron Carbide (+$1,000)
Swap both DS 2.5 plates for DS 3.0 boron carbide (B₄C) ceramic plates — our lighter, flagship plate — in the same cut you choose.
