Start with full-torso Level IIIA soft armor for handgun threats, add Dragon Skin™ flexible rifle protection, and get a carrier engineered to hold the entire system together.

Everyday configuration: Patrol Vest + GTX-K-3A Level IIIA full-torso armor.
Maximum lightweight configuration: Substitute Ultralite 3-A to reduce system weight.
Rifle configuration: Add Dragon Skin™ DS 2.5 flexible rifle plates.
Lightweight rifle upgrade: Upgrade to a pair of 10 × 12 Boron Carbide ICW plates for $800. These plates are approximately 20% lighter than the standard SiC/TiB₂ plates, reducing system weight while maintaining rifle protection.
Expanded protection: Add 6 × 8 Dragon Skin™ side panels or additional cummerbund soft armor.
